Hello
I wanted to bring up a situation I'm encountering with one of our IP configurations. Currently, I have one IP that is registered in both domains, domain1 and domain2. Recently, I adjusted the Discovery properties, setting “WMI is trusted host name source” to Yes. After running Discovery, I obtained the expected data, but there seems to be an issue with the DNS Domain.
At present, the Host name is listed as server_name, the FQDN as server_name.domain1, but the DNS Domain is showing as domain2. Could anyone advise on how to push the discovery to change the DNS Domain from domain2 to domain1? Your expertise and any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your support!

Have you verified what is the name set on DNS level? Your network/server team would have this information.

Hi @lukaszstanczyk ,
DNS Domain field is populated by DNS Probe. Please refer to the kb article listed below for more information. There is one more ootb field called OS Domain (os_domain) which gives appropriate domain information. May be you can leverage this field as well.
