Operator workspace on NOC display

We are wanting to put up the Event Management - Operator workspace on our NOC display.  My first issue, even with an account that can access, how can we make that workspace stay logged in for 24/7?

Any ideas?

 

2nd issue, how to automatically redirect the user after login to that workspace?

 

I've search high and low and can't seem to find anyone doing this and I can't believe we are the first to attempt this type of functionality in a NOC.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.  I am unable to modify global settings that would affect all other users so this will work, so I know about the properties we can adjust, I'm looking for some other method to keep this page alive.  Also looked at the walk-up experience, but that's using a portal with some widgets that keep that session active.

It seems session times out in agent workspace while the user is active "work in progress"

So we figured out a simple workaround until a more graceful way is figured out. In the software the manages the displays, if you just refresh the page before the session times out, it will maintain that workspace session. I’m still trying to automate the login directly to the workspace, at this point I have them script with the display software to change page to the workspace. Btw, I checked our version, they have patched that issue with many versions out there, so at least that isn’t causing us any issues. Thanks again for the reply.

As I stated, we have a workaround, but I'm still looking for a solid solution, for both parts.  Easy redirect to a workspace after login AND a method within ServiceNow to maintain the workspace session indefinitely (or is our "refresh the page" workaround our only option?)
