2 How Email Accounts Work
When the Email Accounts plugin is activated, a script runs that converts existing account information from email properties into account records in the new Email Account [sys_email_account] table. This script creates an outgoing SMTP account and an incoming POP3 account in the new table.
Things can go wrong if there is missing info in existing account information prior to activation of Email Accounts plugin.
What version is your instance? There may a known issue.

Hi Tony,
I got provisioned default email accounts from HI team.
But I am not able to send email to the instance.
email receiving is enabled, connection successful,pop3 reader is ready state.
How to solve this?

Excellent that pop3 is working now!
Consider marking this (pop3) question as answered and started a new thread concerned SMTP?
