I wanted to share a POC we recently built for a client around ServiceNow and Ansible automation.
The goal was to keep governance, approvals, traceability, and ITSM controls in ServiceNow, while reusing existing Ansible playbooks as the execution layer.
The demo covers incident-driven auto-remediation, self-service requests, approved change execution, CMDB-driven inventory, secrets management, SSO/RBAC, GitOps-style configuration, and support for both AAP and AWX.
I’d be very interested in feedback from the community, especially from people working on ITSM governance, automation operating models, platform engineering, or ServiceNow + Ansible at scale.
