Replace SCOM with ITOM (ACC) Monitoring

Has anyone been able to successfully replace SCOM with the monitoring capabilities of ITOM (ACC)?  If you have, how was the experience?

We tried an year ago as a POC but in the end we ended up using other monitoring tools because for the team in datacenter was not comfortable using ACC.
