Restart the agent issue, Getting Error!

Hi Community,

ACC V agent unable to communicate with my Instance, so stopped the service and when I want to start the service, I'm getting error like below;

I tried to start manually as referred the docs says, but not option disable to restart.

I checked one KB article and validated. Troubleshooting > Agent Down Section.

1. Agent Status is down

2. Mid Server is Up and Running

3. Mid Server showing in "MID Web Server" with status as "Started".

4. Agent not running on host(Due to above error in image when I try to start).

5. No Network error.

I would check the status of the local servicenow account on that server (.\servicenow), I suspect you might find that is the cause of your issue.

Check it is not disabled and has log on as a service rights, you might potentially have a password issue too.

When you install the agent, it also installs the local user/pass which is used to start the agent. Most likely that user has the policy to change the password after x days. This means Changing the password at the next logon gets activated. So after that when the agent/server gets restarted it will throw this error. Try to untick that open and restart the agent hopefully it will start...
