There is a field for firmware version in the CMDB Net Gear tables, but discovery schedules are not setting it for any of our routers and switches, despite the fact that our equipment is standard Cisco for the most part and that the firmware version is readily available in the SysDescr response. Before I reinvent the wheel, I thought I'd ask if anyone else has solved the problem of setting the firmware version field and can show the way. Thanks.
This question was raised in an earlier posting in the forums but AFAIK there's no solution posted yet.
