Is it possible to run/create Discovery and Service Mapping at the same time?
Specifically, is it possible to create Service Mapping when performing Discovery?
I would appreciate it if you could let me know if there is any reference material such as the procedure.
Thank you very much.

Hi there!
Yes it is possible and that's usually the way Discovery and Service Mapping runs. In other words scheduled. You need to enable Service Mapping application on the MID server that you want to run and then it will run whenever you have your Discovery Scheduled planned.
There are a few things you need to do in order to get ready for Service Mapping, but this Docs link should point you in the right direction: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-it-operations-management/page/product/service-mapping/co...

Hi, what is it needed? When you run Service Mapping, it also initiates a Discovery process for the underlying target host server that does not already exist in CMDB.
Hope it helps
