Is it possible to discover Cisco SD-WAN using ServiceNow Discovery.

Note - It supports SNMP, tested the credentials also which is working.

Absolutely, if you can talk to it with SNMP the rest is building out the classifier and pattern to get all the data you are looking for.

This should help get you started.

With the possibility of using Discovery to discover the Cisco SD-WAN, what OOB table should be used to capture the data?  Or is there a new class that has been added that needs to be imported?

We are looking at the VMware SD-WAN by Velo.

I am not sure if anyone is still struggling with Cisco SDWAN discovery.  What we did and found is that SNMP discovery only gets you so far,  so after identification and some exploration we had to switch to use SSH for deeper exploration and to find the subnets seen by the SDWAN device.

We also created a Class called SDWAN that was a subclass of routers.

The pattern is a bit complex and we still do not have it completely correct but we have not been able to get ServiceNow Interested in creating a proper pattern and any time we ask support for help they want to shovel us off to professional services.

To me this is a major product from a major vendor and should be supported by ServiceNow with a proper pattern.

Hi, try to create an idea. In the past, we were partly successful with the idea portal.
