ServiceNow recommends to disable configuration file tracking. Why?

In one of the docs, ServiceNow recommends to disable configuration file tracking. Why so? Any particular circumstances it will cause issue?
Doc just recommends to disable without providing any reason 😕

Hi @Suggy ,
Based on your screenshot posted above. The default value is set to true. There is no harm in configuring the tracked config files via discovery.
You can find tracked config files in cmdb_ci_config_file_tracked table.

Hi @Community Alums Looks like you did not understand my question.
Yes, OOB by default its TRUE, but ServiceNow recommends to set it to FALSE. So my question was WHY 🙂
