Set a threshold to suppress alert generation

We are planning to implement  set the threshold.

 

we have a requirement one of the customer in the event management.

we have to suppress the the alert in the event management.

But here we have different source like....SCOM, NEWRELIC etc.

Currently we are trying to implement the "Set a threshold to suppress alert generation". I already gone through the ServiceNow documentation.

 

Below are my list of queries, before implementing same in the system.

 

1. As an example we are targeting only one source (New Relic) under that we are getting various metrics like CPU, Memory, etc in the event addition information.

While updating the existing event rule for the New relic, How to incorporate all the different metrics in existing event rule.

 

2. when we are receiving event at different frequent interval like (3, 5, 10, 15mints) etc.

Then hoe to defined the threshold level for existing event rule.

 

3. In between events are creating under the same sources with same metric where severity field value as "Critical" then how to bypass the threshold defined for the respective event rule which should create the Alerts.

 

Your quick help will be much appreciated.
