For Alert suppression - What if you want to suppress alert generation during the maintenance schedule set on the CI regardless of a change request being created. We have some devices that reboot every night and we keep getting alerts for them and they do not want to file a change for it every day for the 30 minutes it takes for all of them to reboot. I'm looking at the Maintenance Rules and cannot help but think that constantly adding and then removing the devices from the list is not the best way to go about this.

@Jyoti11 For recurring maintenance like nightly reboots, you can set up a recurring maintenance schedule that automatically suppresses alerts during that time, without needing a daily change request or manual updates.
Hope this will help you.

That’s helpful. What are the steps for that? How to relate maintenance schedule and maintenance rules for auto suppression of alert?

Hi, an example would be appreciated.
I've created a maintenance schedule for a windows server, so i choose CI Class as source, table windows server and added a filter for the hostname.
Then applied a schedule but on the scheduled time nothing happens.
I need that server being added to the em_impact_maint_ci table so incoming alerts will be marked as in maintenance but it is not.
If you have any more information then please...
