SNMP identity probe not initiated

Recently I found that SNMP Identity probe is not initiated after SNMP Classification is completed.

I have added SNMP OID mapping for OID, still discovery unable to run identification phase.

This was working fine previously.

Anyone has faced such issue?

Hi Mandar,

Take a look at the SNMP - Classify input record...just after sysDescr is an OID returned for sysObjectID?   If so, does it match what you put into SNMP OIDs?

Depending on which version of Service Now you're running, when you created the customer classifier, it may not have added the identity probe in the correct phase, or it's possible the wrong probe was added.

Go to your custom classifier and in the related list named Triggered Probes, ensure you have the probe SNMP - Identity added and the phase is Identity. In older versions it would add all probes into the triggered probes list with Exploration as the default phase. (see screenshot below)
