SSL Setup on self-hosted

We're trying to configure application server to use SSL/HTTPS listener on a non-privileged port.  Not having much luck having followed some guidance on other posts here, (e.g. tomcat properties config).  

Has anyone configured ServiceNow to run HTTPS listener recently and can advise on the best way to do this?

You have to do SSL termination at the load balancer layer. Have you deployed on tin or cloud?
