I upgraded developer instance last night to Jakarta and am running a test Oracle DB discovery (UNIX) and receiving the following error:

Discovery using patterns could not be executed due to missing pattern Oracle DB On Unix Pattern. Synchronize the pattern with the Mid Servers and try again

How do I resolve this ?

reinstalled Mid Server

I realise you'd upgraded to Jakarta (I re-read your original post!) and realised all that was needed was to re-key the MID.   Generally, run through the installer.bat but repoint it back to the correct URL and it should have updated the config files.



Apologies for that - my misreading, but good that it's fixed!

Not a problem and thanks for your help. One great thing about dev instances is you can blast them away and start again !
