There are 2 different integrations between Tanium and ServiceNow. The incident integration via Tanium Connect will allow you to create incidents based on the output of a saved question. The CMDB Connector utilizes the Tanium Asset module to populate the ServiceNow CMDB. This integration is a Direct API integration and does not utilize the MID-Server. Some additional information is available in the Tanium Asset User guide here - https://docs.tanium.com/asset/asset/index.html
Happy to answer any other questions you have
Pete

Hello,
Were you able to pull data from Tanium into SN CMDB?
Thanks.

In my Company we have integrated Tanium Asset with SN and we were received the CI's from Tanium, That being said Tanium's Script must be set to an older version of SN. it won't populate Assets unless you set the destination to the computer table instead of the Personal Computer Table. Once you make this change it will create the CI and the Asset.
