Telecom device Discovery

Hi, can some one confirm if Service now discovery supports telecom devices i.e. avaya, oracle hardwares. If yes, please advise how to proceed on this for configuring discovery.

Hi Raj,

That is probably because the device is not responding to SNMP queries.   SNMP protocol is UDP - meaning we will not receive an error message if packets drop.   Also with most netgear you should ensure that the ACL's are updated to allow the MID Server IP address.

Another troubleshooting method is to remove SN from the equation and go directly to the MID Server host - download a SNMP MIB Browser (like iReasoning) or similar and test from there.
