Tickets created in ESS Portal Not Appearing under My Tickets

Hi,

 

I’ve created tickets for Certificate Management through the ESS portal, but these tickets are not showing up under the "My Tickets" section in the ESS portal.

 

Has anyone experienced this issue or have suggestions on how to resolve it, Is there any configuration or setting I might be missing?

Hello @Hari S1 

 

Do check what is configuration done to show particular records under that widget. Try to check ifilter applied might be your ticket for Certificate Management is getting excluded.

Hi Hari, to troubleshoot this behaviors, one should crosscheck this in multiple directions, I would follow below steps.

1) Once the ticket for certificate Management is created, check what type of ticket is created like INC/RITM, you will be able to check this once immediately after you create the ticket.
2) If this is an RITM or INC it should definitely visible under the My tickets list ( as you shared screenshot), in this case check if you have any pre filter selected like hide closed tickets, or the ticket is created/Requested for on others name. you can always search for that in Classic view Search bar on top right corner, just search with the ticket name/number.
3) In case there is different type of ticket you will have to create a new widget/edit the current widget to include that respective ticket type, you can edit the widget in Service Portal Designer, widget editor.

I'm working on the ESS portal. I want to add the tickets created from Certificate Management. Specifically, when we click on the 'My Tasks' tab, we would like to display those tickets e.g., TASKxxxxx OR CERTxxxxx. How can we achieve this in the ESS portal?
