Unable to configure ServiceNow with Azure.

Hi All,

I have just upgraded my ServiceNow dev version to Madrid and I am trying to configure my Azure with ServiceNow instance. I am getting and error  message:  " Could not resolve mid server for API request". Can someone confirm if its mandatory o have a mid server while configuring Azure account with ServiceNow. This is so because, I was referring to a video on YouTube by Zack Sargent wherein the configuration happened without a mid server.

Hi Biswajit,

Azure is a cloud platform and you dont need a mid server to perform an integration. Did you try by using Rest Calls?

Hi,

to get your Azure Subscription into Service now, i dont think you would need a MID. the CAPIs (Cloud APIs) directly talks to Azure platform and gets it's data centers through Web Service type in Service now.

however if you want to do Cloud Resource Discovery and Provisioning of Azure cloud resources from Service Now CMP to Azure, you would need to have one MID in place.

did you create your Azure Service Principles in service now and able to get your subscription. do you have an EA account?

please place here the screenshots of successful setup of Azure parts you have done in Service Now.

Thanks...

Microsoft have provided this handy guide to integrating Azure AD with ServiceNow.
