Unable to configure ServiceNow with Azure.

Hi All,

I have just upgraded my ServiceNow dev version to Madrid and I am trying to configure my Azure with ServiceNow instance. I am getting and error  message:  " Could not resolve mid server for API request". Can someone confirm if its mandatory o have a mid server while configuring Azure account with ServiceNow. This is so because, I was referring to a video on YouTube by Zack Sargent wherein the configuration happened without a mid server.

Regards

Thanks everyone for their replies. I am actually trying to set up the cloud provisioning through servicenow, where the Cloud admin would be able to view the billing, approve instance creation etc. Any documentation would be useful.

PS: I dis my research and but with those I got an error: MID API call unsuccessful.

As again appreciate your help and efforts.

please follow below in sequence :

- setup Azure service principle, which is gonna be called your Azure Credential in Service now.

- discover the Azure subscription through the above Service principle created.

- create Service Account in service now by providing all tenant id, AD id of azure etc. follow below link and beneath links to this for Azure setup.

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/london-it-operations-management/page/product/cloud-management-v2-setup/task/azure-service-account-cloud-mgt.html

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/helsinki-it-operations-management/page/product/azure-cloud-provisioning/concept/c_GettingStartedAzure.html

- in Cloud User Portal:

create user,

add group for that user

define qouta for user and group.

setup ARM templates and create Blueprint

launch the Catalog from cloud user portal.

link it to the Cloud Account.

few fields like, Cloud account, Locations, cloud regions etc should auto populate.

- other fields you need to provide.

a "Blueprint Request" workflow should trigger post you submit the catalog.

make sure you have an Active MID reachable to Azure and has the cloud management capability added or ALL added.

refer below document for detailed steps:
