Hi All,

We activated Data certificate plugin. When trying to select the table in Certification schedule it appears grayed out and we are unable to select it. Grayed part seemed to be fine as that i how it appears in docs. But however we are not able to select any table. Any solution for this please. TIA.

The data dictionary is designed to limit data certification tasks to the cmdb_ci table to keep you from trying to do data certification on things other than the CMDB.

You need to go the Certification Filters table and build a Certification Filter based upon what you want to do certification on. There you should be able to build a filter for any of the CI classes as well as other tables within ServiceNow.

From there you can add additional filters and determine exactly how many records the data certification tasks will be run for by clicking on the update count icon.

Back on the schedule definitions form, supply the appropriate filter definition and add the additional information as required for what fields get displayed, what you want certified and who should get the tickets.

Hi Scot,

Thanks a ton for the detailed explanation. We have now created filters and will use them accordingly in our schedules. Also we understood more on using qualifications for schedules through filters.

Thanks,

Vishnu

Create new step in the subflow for "update record" referencing the my action that calculates impact/urgency for the incident.

There is an UI Policy that is making it read only - so if you wish to use the data certification for example on groups or user table - you disable this 'Make table name read only' to choose another table. Then activate it again afterwards.

Has anyone tried using a Data source created via the CMDB Query Builder in the Data Certification Filter?
