On Discovery Home, while I've read the London doc, have a few questions on understanding the numbers I'm seeing.
Under "Targeted IPs" there is a number associated with "Alive".
If I add "Discovered Devices" plus "Unidentified IPs", should that equal the "Alive" count under "Targeted IPs"?
Reason is, mine does not on any of my Schedules.
In the attached screen shot, I see 63 Discovered, 31 it could not classify, and 96 alive.
But 63+31=94
On some of my other Discovery schedules, the difference between Discovered, Unidentified and Alive are even further apart.
Thanks

Hello Dave,
Discovered Devices refers just to IP addresses that matched a configuration item found in your CMDB
Unidentified IPs refers to IP addresses that could not be classified in anyway (normally this means SN could not find a port open on the device that matched one of the protocols being scanned for like SSH)
Targeted IPs refers to the total number of IP addresses being targeted by that schedule, with the Alive IP addresses being a subset of Targeted IPs that responded to the Shazam probe
The link below is to the docs article from the Kingston version which gives a more detailed explanation:

Hi,
I was thinking to use the Discovery Home for some automation of errors but not able to figure out from i can start or edit this.
Could someone have an idea how i can put some automation over there.
FOr example the credential issue for Linux which we see in the error logs, directly create a mail for the Linux Team.
