Uninstallation of "ITOM/OT SU Licensing" store app!

Hello Community,

We have identified an older installation of the “ServiceNow ITOM/OT SU Licensing” store application in our production environment. Unfortunately, there is no documented history explaining why it was originally installed.

Currently, client does not use OT Discovery and is considering uninstalling the store app from production. Before proceeding, we would appreciate guidance from the community on the following:

Licensing Impact:
Does the ServiceNow ITOM/OT SU Licensing application have any impact on ITOM licensing (for example, computers, mobile devices, network gear, or other CIs)? Could uninstalling it affect licensing calculations or entitlements?

Hi Krishna,

It isn't recommended to uninstall the "ServiceNow ITOM/OT SU Licensing" plugin. This plugin runs the jobs that calculate licenses for Discovery, Agent Client Collector, Event Management, etc and for other ITOM related applications.

Uninstalling this plugin will affect the license calculation, causing a discrepancy
