Hello All,

I recently noticed that Vcenter discovery is getting failing for some of the Vcenters and getting.

Unable to establish connection to https://xx.xx.x.x/sdk: java.lang.NullPointerException: None of url, username can be null. When I test the credentials I am getting Invalid target specified.

I am using same credentials for all the Vcenters but its not working for only some Vcenters (using external credentials).

any one faced same issue?

Hello Balaji,

Thanks for your reply.

the same credentials are working 25 days before. But credentials suddenly stopped working.

I checked this KB : https://support.servicenow.com/kbid=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0832794

I am not getting the exact error which mentioned in the KB :

Cause:

CyberArk Base Agent will not be installed/running in the target servers due to which discovery fails with the error, "The specified credential 'xxx-svcServiceNowDiscove' does not exist in the specified vault. Specific Error: PDKTC006E Failed to connect to provider (Reason=[Connection refused: connect], Rc=[-1]"

Can I still ASK Vmware team to restart the CyberArk Base Agent ?

Thanks,

Vamshi.

Hi Vasmhi,

Yes, you can give it a try with that option.

Hello Balaji,

I just did a quick discovery using the different Mid servers and discovery was successful.

I think the problem with the mid servers. do you have any idea how to solve this issue ?

Thanks,

Vamshi.
