Hi,
For vCenter, you just need a read only user within vcenter, create cred within SN and run a scan against the vcenter IP. SN discovery will do the rest.
"VMWare — vCenter credentials require a read only user that will be used to query the vCenter API when found as a running process or as a discovered vCenter appliance. "
Take a look at vCenter Discovery and process flow

Hi Amit,
Where is this mid server installed. On Vcenter VPN or our VPN.
Try contacting this Vcenter using PUTTY. And check if you can ping it.
Thanks

Hi Ashutosh,
MID server installed in different location. I tried from MID source machine to ping the target device which I am discovering and it's absolutely working fine.
However, I am getting the error.
May I know in case I need to work on any stuff related to credential or anything got impacting due to other issue.
Regards,
Amit

HI Amit,
This is pure credential issue. You might have store this credentials in service now right. Under discovery credentials.
Try testing this credentials there.
Thanks

Hi Ashutosh,
Credential already setup with Vmware type. I can also see "credential validated" screen while testing the credential. As I am using the domain account to access vCenter, I have specify the domain with the user name in the credential record in this format
User - domain\username
PWD - XXXXX
Active - Yes
Specific MID server -> added the list of MID servers
Set Order to - 40
Anything else I need to follow for credential setup related to vCenter successfully discovery.
Regards,
Amit

What happens when you test it.
Thanks,
