Hello Everyone,
Virtual Machine Instance [cmdb_ci_vm_instance] , ci's install status & operational status is constantly updated by admin post discovery update.
I have verified KB0863733, as suggested Business Rule - Cascade deprovisioned status to server ,but as audit suggest its updated by admin in both cmdb_ci_vm_instance and cmdb_ci_server on same time ,
So kindly let me know why the CI is updated by admin post discovery and its happening on daily basis but not on same time interval, sometimes ci's are updated by admin after 6 hours , sometimes on 15 mins in some cases after 1 day.

Hi
I guess you might have some cloud events configured on your instance and could be the reason for these modifications.
Can you check that once and let me know these VMs come from which cloud discovery?

Have you checked which Patterns/Steps in the Discovery schedule update these fields exactly?

Thanks for your response, i see Pattern updates are marked in Updated By field by soap.admin rest i see it as Updated By admin

Sorry what I meant to ask is if maybe there is another pattern in another schedule running at the same time?
