Our provider requires us to use the VMware vCloud Director interfaces as described here.
The VMware interfaces as suggested in the ServiceNow Docs, more specifically described at Requirements for VMware Cloud, are prohibited.
Does anyone have experience integrating ServiceNow with VMware vCloud Director? We would like to do orchestration, event management and discovery.

We are running a private cloud entirely on VCD and have it integrated with ServiceNow. We are doing automated org provisioning, ci discovery and other stuff. We could catch up more if you want to ask something more specific.

Are you using the Cloud Management Service or plain orchestration activities?

We are actually running a private cloud based on almost entirely VMware products, as our cloud management platform is VCD. On top of that, we have ServiceNow which we use for automating stuff - example is - we request org and orgvdc creation requests from ServiceNow and we automatically fulfill those on the backend directly in VCD.

Thank you for the information. Are you willing to share about the implementation details? Did you base your integration by Customizing your Cloud Management service or with the Orchestration activity designer?
