Hi All,

I have 22 service mappings created in dev with all the discovered CI and the same CI are available in test Instance as well I want to move this 22 service mapping from dev to test with all the details , mapping and CI relationship , please suggest the steps to move correctly.

(I have tried with Import xml, Update set, json through script , I am able to get the service mapping in list with name operational status and owner details but View Map is not active and CI are not mapped even Entry point is missing)

Hi,

When you say you have used XML. Have you just exported the XML for that ServiceMap & Imported to the Test Instance?

If so, you can use the Export Service Definitions instead, which will also have all the entry points exported and similarly use the Import Service Definition in the Test Environment to import the map.

To export Service Definition open the list view select the map you want to export and Click on Actions on Selected rows > Export Service Definitions

To import these services, go to the target instance and go to Service Mapping > Import Service Definitions.

Let me know if this helps

Hi Prabhjyot Sing1,

The Service Mappings were created manually, and while attempting to export/import the Service Definitions, we are encountering the following errors:
[WARN] Service: LMS is manually created and will not be included
[ERROR] No services to export

This indicates that manually created services are not supported for export via the Service Definition export functionality.
