Hello Everyone,
I am unable to discover WAP devices. I had chat network team, they mentioned "ICNP credentials are require to connect WAP devices" but ServiceNow doesn't have ICNP credentials type. When I am using SNMP credentials, I am not able to discover any device. If anyone discovered WAP devices, could you please assist me?

Hi Sudhakar,
I am not sure whether your particular WAP device supported in Helsinki or not. If the particular device does not support by ServiceNow, Then you can create new custom SNMP classifier.
There is an old community post created by our doug.schulze which will explain clearly how to set up a new classifier. The link is below.
Build A Simple SNMP Classifier

Hi All,
We are also facing issues in discovery of WAP devices.
In our environment we have WAP controllers which are SNMP configured. And to those WAP controllers we have multiple WAP devices configured.
e.g :- 1 WAP controller controls let say have 100 WAP devices linked to it. On those WAP devices, their is no SNMP configured.
So could someone please let me know steps to create a custom probe and sensor for discovering all the WAP devices connected to a WAP controller.
Thanks & Regards,
Gaurav

Hi Gaurav,
Did you ever manage to discover all WAP devices that are connected to a WAP controller?
Thanks
Steve
