What Class to use for Networks?

A customer has some data for Networks which they want to add to the CMDB.  These are not logical networks but rather such things as PII Enclaves, NAT'ed networks which have some architecture to them.

I've looked through the Kingston common data model and I do not see any class which fits well at all.  I'm considering extending the data model but wanted to get some opinions first.

  1. Is there a class which could realistically (without significant customization) handle the information required?
    1. Number of network devices
    2. Service Provided by the network
    3. Network Architecture
  2. If no class exists, which class would fit best to extend?
    1. This is a logical CI
    2. It could theoretically end up with a relationship mapped back to the network devices which are part of its architecture

I would define these as business/application services and link them to the infrastructure that supports them. I'm expecting that the infrastructure has been already defined in the appropriate classes. You could then add any supporting docs to this item.

What did you decide on ?   How did that work out ?  I do not like the answer from Brian Kelly because the class/record for business/application services does not have the rigth metadata.  I also defaulted in my mind to what Brain suggested but it just seems like a network is a class of its own.  It is a capacity and a mega configuration item and it does get provisioned and it has sub offerings
