We really only see three "Discovery Source" values being used in our CMDB:
Service-now (which we have learned is Discovery)
ServiceNow
ServiceWatch (which we know is Mapping)
What I am to find is an explanation of what triggers a CI's "Discovery Source" value to be "ServiceNow". We have many recently updated CIs with this "ServiceNow" value but have been unable to determine what that actually implies/alludes to and I have been unable to find any such definition in the documentation.
Regards,
Chris

"Service-now" is the old value for Discovery and was changed years ago to "ServiceNow". If you wanted to migrate with that change, you would've had to change the system property responsible: glide.discovery.source_name.

Thanks, Andrew! That is exactly what I needed.
