Why is an incident being created for a certificate that has renewal tracking set to "Do not create renewal tasks"?

Additionally, the created incident does not appear under the related records. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, please let me know how you resolved it.

I checked the subflow for Certificate Notification and the business rule (BR), but I couldn't find an answer.

Thank you,
Selva

First: really? Post the same question under two different accounts?
https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-forum/why-is-an-incident-being-created-for-certificat...

Second: Please share your subflow and BR, so we can assist on this. You are just sharing the outcome, without sharing the (probable) issue causing it. Did you check on the sys_id of the 'unknown' CI? It sounds weird to have an 'unknown' item in your system. Are you sure it's this one that has 'no renewal task' on it?

Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Hi,

I have accidentally created two different accounts using my old and new email addresses. I had deleted the one I posted, but I am unsure why it is still showing up. My intention was not to grab attention or harm anyone by posting the question twice or anything. Please don't arrive at a conclusion without knowing what happened.

Thank you for your answer. I will get back to you with the subflow.

Regards,

Selva

Are you sure that the incident is for the certificate you are checking?

Yes, please it is an incident for the certificate! We havent changed the subflow, using the OOB one. Strange, the CI says as unknown.

Kindly help!

Thank you
