Hi SNC,
We are working on the roll-out of the Agent Client Collector (ACC) Agents on VDIs (Virtual Desktops). These CIs belong to the custom class Virtual Desktop [u_cmdb_ci_virtual_desktop], but ACC classify those as a Personal Computer.
Now we created a Windows Classification record with criteria based on the name attribute, because the VDIs are using a specific prefix (e.g. ABC... = > name START WITH ABC). This rule gets ignored and I don't know why.
Any one with ACC experience who can share some tips/ trics?
BR,
Serkan

Did you ever get this working? We have the exact same requirement but we have no naming standard for the virtual desktops so we can't use hostname in the conditions. Ideally there would be a variable that represents if it is virtual, so we can add a condition of virtual == true, and place the new windows classification rule just above the last windows classification rule (which is to classify normal PCs).
