If you are having issues with your Continue Shopping button in your Service Catalog redirecting you to the wrong page, this may be because you need to update your Continue Shopping catalog settings.
In Fuji (and onward), the system property is glide.sc.continue.shopping.target property is no longer being used; instead, each catalog now has its own fields to direct the Continue Shopping navigation for CMS and desktop.
So, if you've set a value for this system property, which previously controlled the Continue Shopping function, you'll be rerouted from your shopping spree to an incorrect URL (/catalog_home.do?sysparm_view=catalog_default.do😞
You can correct this issue by adding the UI page to the catalog 'Continue Shopping' page field for each catalog. This determines the location to direct end users to when they click the Continue Shopping button.
To update the 'Continue Shopping' page field for CMS and Desktop:
To set Continue Shopping for CMS:
- Go to Service Catalog > Maintain Catalogs.
- Select the catalog.
- Under Sites, change the CMS Continue Shopping Page property for the Employee Self-Service record to the page to redirect to, for example, order_hardware.
To set Continue Shopping for desktop:
- Go to Service Catalog > Maintain Catalogs.
- Select the catalog.
- Enter the UI page in the 'Continue Shopping' page field.
You should then be redirected to the correct page:
