Activities in a change request

Hello,

On a change request I have the state that as new. When I click on authorize it asks for approval a couple of people, once someone approves, the state changes to approved and everything is captured in the activities.

My task is that inside activities it should appear the user that approved the change or "system" and not the user that initiated the approval. 

E.G: User Elena Pomana initiated the approval, user Bernard Laboy approved and inside activities it should appear:
Bernard Laboy
Change Request has been approved by Emergency Change Policy (CAB Approval).
Group approval for CAB Approval approved by user Bernard Laboy (CAB Approval).

and of course the same for changed state action.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi @Elena Pomana 

unfortunately there is no chance with the OOTB Flows which represent the backbone of all change requests. The problem is that they are configured in a way that they run under the user who triggered the Flow (you in your example). And if the Flow writes something into the work notes or additional comments is done with the user of the running Flow. This seems to be a design flaw and might be fixed in future releases.

Very interesting use case and working in the change domain, it looks a valid ask. But there is no way or OOTB way to achieve this. As @Maik Skoddow  also mentioned and agree with him.
