Add catalog item to the dashboard

can the catalog item related to the Knowledge article be added to the KM Dashboard that already exists so the KMs can see these requests and not rely on email notifications? 

Please let me know on how Can I work on this

Hi,

There is a catalog item which will take request for creation or editing or retiring the articles.
whenever the request is made for a particluar knowledge article, Approval will get triggered for the related Knowledge base managers.


The below is the requirement that is needed to implement:

the only approval for that one is the manager of the KB; however some KBs (most I'd say) have more than 1 manager. (already implemented)

 

and, can it be added to the KM Dashboard that already exists so the KMs can see these requests and not rely on email notifications? (waiting on this part)

you can create a report on sysapproval_approver table with condition as Approver is dynamic Me and Table = kb_knowledge and State = Requested

So when logged in user has any approval that person can see directly the pending approvals
