Add state Assess to Emergency Change Type

Hi There,

I want to add the choice Assess to state of emergency change type and want it to work exactly like that of Normal change type.

Any leads?

Hi Twinkle,

We do have a Normal Change right, why do you want Emergency change work like Normal Change again.

If you want to add Assess to Emergency change, you have to do customizations to the following things.

1. Please check this UI action on Change Request - Request Approval(Action name: state_model_request_cab_approval). Because in emergency change Assess state will be skipped, so look into this Ui action and make sure when we click on request approval it should send peer approvals and state should be Assess.

2. customize this workflow: Change Request - Emergency or create a new workflow by cloning Change Request - Normal and Modifying as per your requirement.

3. Last look into the script include: Change Request State Model_Emergency

To achieve this use state model module.

Check OOTB Example Change Request - Normal.

You have to make changes in Example Change Request - Emergency
