If the catalog task is created on workflow or flow designer I know we can go that specific activity or flow action and add the variables. But in this case, the catalog task is created with a workflow step.
I am not sure how to bring the variables to the form. Can anyone please help?

Hi @Sruthi17 ,

Hope you are doing great.

To add variables to the catalog task form in ServiceNow, you can follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Service Catalog module and locate the catalog task for which you want to add variables.

  2. Open the form for the catalog task by clicking on the task name or by using the relevant UI action.

  3. Once the form is open, click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "Configure > Form Layout".

  4. In the Form Layout configuration, you will see a list of available variables on the left side. Select the variables you want to add to the form and click the right arrow button to move them to the Selected Variables column on the right side.

  5. Arrange the selected variables in the desired order using the up and down arrow buttons.

  6. After arranging the variables, click the Save button to apply the changes to the form.

  7. Now, when you open the catalog task form, you should see the added variables and be able to input values for them.
