Any definitions for each of the statuses in the phases of a service/service offering

Hi all,

Can anyone point to definitions of each of the statuses within each of the phases of a service/service offering?

For example, Pipeline has a number of statuses, and so does Catalog, but I can't find any definitions for each of these statuses, nor do I know if there is any functionality triggered selecting a different status for a phase.

Also, has anyone found some process flow documents for SPM. I'm trying to implement it, and the ServiceNow documentation is pretty light.

Any advice, would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

Matthew

Have you tried service owner workspace, it gives a guided way of creation of service.

Service Owner Workspace is end-of-life in San Diego, would not recommend implementing that.

As far as I am aware, the statusses do not trigger anything and I have never found a definition for them. My guess is they are a bit legacy and in a few releases everything will use Lifecycle Stage + Status.
