Approvers are not showing RITM, but it's taking next steps in workflow

Hi Community,

 

For one of the catalog item, approvers are not showing in RITM. But in workflow its taking approvals are approved and going to next step in workflow. How to get the approvers in ritm ?

Hello Tulasi,

 

This could be because the approval group has no members/ the members (sys_user records) are not active.

Hi @tulasi8 

Since you mentioned that all approvers are active, this doesn’t appear to be a group or user issue. This typically happens when the approval is either auto-approved or not being created against the RITM. Please check whether sysapproval_approver records are being generated for the RITM and ensure the workflow approval activity is explicitly tied to the Requested Item

Show screenshots of the setup of the Approval - User or Approval - Group activity, and confirm that the user(s) have the itil or approver_user roles.
