Approvers can't access approval records content in Employee center portal

We recently implemented a scheduled job to scan the sysapproval table and send notification reminders to approvers with a link to the Employee Center portal for approval.

During testing, we discovered that some users cannot view the content because they do not have the approver role, which requires a license.

We seek an alternative solution allowing users to view and approve requests on the portal without needing the approver role and its associated license.

Could you please advise on any alternative methods to enable these users to access and approve requests within the Employee Center portal? I would appreciate your expertise in resolving this issue.

Hi @Sam M ,

Unfortuantely, you cannot skip license consumption by just using Portal. approver_user does require license.

Anyone who is going to approve anything , they will need to have approver_user role assigned to them.

Users will not be able to see any approval requests which are assigned to them in Native or Portal View if you don't use approver_user role for approver.
