ATF in Scoped App – Unable to see sys_choice dropdown values for Catalog Item variable (shows None)

Hello Community,

I am facing an issue while working with ATF in a scoped application for a Catalog Item.

I have a Catalog Item variable which is a dependent dropdown field.

The dropdown options are coming from the sys_choice table.

Issue details:

On the Service Portal, the variable works correctly and the dropdown values are visible.

However, in ATF, when I use the Set Variable Values step to set a value for this variable, the dropdown shows only “None”.

The actual choice values are not visible/selectable in ATF.

Is this due to scope (Global sys_choice vs Scoped ATF) or an ATF limitation with dependent variables?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

do you have choices for that variable?

share screenshot of that variable config and also how the dependency is handled

I believe since it's having dependency based on sys_choice it's not showing choices in ATF

Yes I have choices for that variable in sys_choice table.

Please find attached screenshot for variable configuration.

Variable type : look up select box

Look up from table : sys_choice

Reference qualifier: javascript'name=app_data^element=subcategory^dependent_value='+current variables.category. 

app_data is custom table in scoped application.

Any guidance would be appreciated.Thanks!

Based on the current setup, I would appreciate your input on whether this configuration could be the reason ATF is not showing the dependent choices, and if there is any workaround or recommendation for this scenario.
