ATF issue setting component values in field in Service Operations Workspace (SOW)

Hello!
I'm having an issue with selecting the correct test step to complete this field:
Currently, I'm using "Set Component Values":
Which seems to work at first, but during the test, the field still has the red outline as if it not been filled in and I'm unable to retrieve the components for the next dependent field "Article Template".
I have also tried "Click Component" (Custom UI), with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

red outline means it's not able to set value and hence the button is not enabled.
Click Component (Custom UI) doesn't always guarantee success.
