Attachment field in form

Greetings,

One of my requirements is to build an file attachment-accepting field in ServiceNow. The attachments must come from either 'My computer' or a specific table in the instance.

In other words, I should be able to attach a PDF from my PC or any table that has some files loaded to it if I wish to attach a record.

Hello @sakshi18 ,

ServiceNow provides "Attachments Icon (Paper Clip)" on form. May I know why is there a need to create a new field to do the same?

Hi shubam,

it is true that we have a paperclip icon on the form, but we want to create a field so that the users can easily find the file that they are looking for.

the attachment will be individual to every record.
