Based on category choices and subcategory choices, assignment group should be populate

Hi,

I have created two fields, one is category and another one is subcategory (Both are select box type) in catalog item so based on category choices and subcategory choices, assignment group should be populate in request, RITM and SCTASK forms after submitting a ticket from the portal.

Can anyone please help on this, It will be usefull.

There are multiple ways to do this. You could use Assignment Rules, Data Lookup Rules, or Business Rules for that. This article explains the various options.

Hope you are doing well.

You will make multiple way to do this. Its better way to use assignment rule.

Navigate: Assignment rule>New

Applies to> select your Table and set filter condition

Assign to> Group (you want to auto populate)
