BPMN Support

I had inadvertently created a forum post a few weeks back: Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) XML Workflow Imports/Export with respects to BPMN support in Service-Now in the wrong area of these forums. When working with a mature enterprise, most already have a tool deployed that is used for business process documentation / management.

I see significant parallels between BPMN and "workflows" in Service-Now.

I would like to go down the route of an enhancement request so that we could employ a strategy where business processes are automatically exported from the BPM tool into SNOW.

Fundamentally, XML is at the base of both technologies.

What is the best and appropriate way to sell the merits of this request?

The best thing to do is log a ticket with Service-now support at https://hi.service-now.com explaining your idea. Service-now tracks those requests and implements them based on customer demand for a feature. If you don't have a /hi account, work with your Sales rep to get one.
