CAB Workbench - Defaults for being able to approve/reject in CAB meeting

Are there defaults for what State a Change Request needs to be in to get the approve option in a live CAB meeting through CAB Workbench?

Checking the 'CAB Required' checkbox adds it to a CAB meeting but I don't always see the option to approve it if it's in Assess or Authorize. Maybe it's because we've modified OOtB. I see how to set the criteria for what makes it on the agenda but not what is able to be approved. I'm seeing inconsistent results for when I get the Approve option. Any help or documentation links would be helpful.

Was wondering if you ever figured this out. I think your problem is the same as mine. Even though a change is in what 'we' have as a 'Change State' where an approval takes place, the state in the Change box (with the timer, approve/reject, etc) shows "State: Draft". Obviously, we are not using the basic out of the box states.

it "appears" that CAB Workbench "is" using the default out of the box states no matter what each user has configured.

What/were are the settings to control what states are used, if any?

Approve or reject button is visible if you are the approver on the change request currently being reviewed.

@venkatiyer1 - Change Manager is not part of cab approval group. Is there any way change manager can approve the change request?

Change Manager has role- sn_change_cab.cab_manager. But cant see approve button in CAB workbench
