CAB Workbench use in an In Person Meeting

We are considering the implementation of the CAB Workbench plugin in order to streamline and add efficiency to our CAB meeting process. Our CAB meetings are currently a hybrid meeting (both  in person and web conference). This type of meeting will remain as management wants as many people to attend CAB in person as possible. If there are attendees of the CAB in person, how do we record their attendance? It seems that the CAB Workbench only records the attendance of users that are viewing the CAB Workbench from their logged in instance.

Also, We review Standard, Emergency, and Normal changes in our CAB. The agenda for a particular CAB meeting does not list the type of change or allow us to filter on type. It appears to just sort the agenda based on Planned Start date. Has anyone customized the Agenda widget to align with their processes?

Thanks in advance!

Stephen,

In our case, we are using CAB Workbench along with an in person meeting. Individuals that attend the meeting in person, in most cases, do not log into Servicenow during the meeting but simply view what is being presented via the projector. We manually capture their attendance and add them to the CAB Meeting attendee list after the CAB is completed.

A Work around for the inline CAB notes that you mentioned is adding a custom field to the change_request table for notes. This field can then be added to the change form. When in CAB Workbench, you can click the pencil icon on the top right of the change request you are viewing to allow updates to that request. While I have not found a way to add comments to the cab_workbench view during the CAB, this is a viable alternative.

Hope this helps.
