Can't see widgets in Page Designer

I noticed we were using a deprecated widget--SC Order Guide Deprecated--in our Service Portal and went in to fix it. My understanding from ServiceNow training and documentation is this should be Service Portal->Pages->[page in question]->open in Page Designer->delete deprecated widget->drag and drop correct widget

This went great in DEV

Then I tried in PPRD... I drag and drop, and nothing seems to happen. I try again. And again. I reload and try again. I relog and try again. Then, I notice: I've now created 10x instances of the correct widget, except I can't "see" them, including to delete them back down to one instance...

Does anyone have any idea what gives?

Multiple instances of widget:

But, when opened in Page Designer, blank container:

find_real_file.png

What gives?

when you add the widget it took few seconds to set , have you tried to check in "instance in page editor" ? is it also showing blank there as well ?

In Page Editor I am able to see them... should I just delete the widgets + instances from here?

find_real_file.png

you will see link to open that page designer there , click and delete it . also before going to page designer try to clear the cache and open it.

HI JP-ODU,

The widget must not be having some content to display that is the reason in the page designer you are not able to view the widgets .

Try hover over the border of each block you will be able to see the widgets name there as shown in the screenshot.

find_real_file.png

Hover through each block you will be able to see the widget present in each block
