when I click on "view" an attachment in an incident, it takes me to a download page. How can I get it to let me actually view it in SN?

Hi Gerry,
There is a property "glide.ui.attachment.force_download_all_mime_types" which if set to "true" downloads all the attachment every time. If you set this to "false" you view the attachment in a pop up window.
Thanks
Naveen

Also please check the property glide.ui.attachment.download_mime_types which may have mime types defined to stop the file rendering in the browser for security reasons.
Thanks

This would be an Admin permission, right? Which means it would effect all users. Why can other users "view" the files, but I can't?
I don't know what happened last night, but I also lost my Windows AD Users and Computers function. I had to uninstall/reinstall Win10RSAT to get it to work.
I think I have a Win10 issue here . . . . .

Yes, thats a system property, which needs admin access and that effects all users.
Why can other users "view" the files, but I can't?
Not sure about that, need to do further analysis on that.
Thanks

Hi Gerry,
Just check ACL on sys_attachment table with Read operation. that might be blocking and causing the issue as you said you had an update in instance.
Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also hit Like and Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks
